Agenda 21 is filled with nice beautiful warm fuzzy words designed to make you feel good about your help to save the environment. The purpose of the Agenda is masked by the authors. Let us never forget the real purpose:
“The common enemy of humanity is man. In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill. All these dangers are caused by human intervention, and it is only through changed attitudes and behavior that they can be overcome. The real enemy then, is humanity itself.” – Club of Rome,
“In Nature organic growth proceeds according to a Master Plan, a Blueprint. Such a ‘master plan’ is missing from the process of growth and development of the world system. Now is the time to draw up a master plan for sustainable growth and world development based on global allocation of all resources and a new global economic system. Ten or twenty years form today it will probably be too late.” – Club of Rome, Mankind at the Turning Point
The goal of Agenda 21 is to eliminate private property.
Americans for Prosperity addresses the issue of property rights.
The United Nations defines it this way:
“Land… cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market… The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interest of society as a whole.” This can’t be a choice according to the UN:
“Agenda 21 proposes an array of actions which are intended to be implemented by EVERY person on Earth…it calls for specific changes in the activities of ALL people… Effective execution of Agenda 21 will REQUIRE a profound reorientation of ALL humans, unlike anything the world has ever experienced… ” Agenda 21: The Earth Summit Strategy to Save Our Planet (Earthpress, 1993)
Here are a list of warm fuzzy words that are used:
Environment * Economy * Equity * Consensus * Affordable Housing * Friends of… * Action * Protect * Preserve * Quality of Life * Benefit of all * Sanctuary * Social/Environmental Justice * Best Management Practices * Watershed * Facilitator * Traffic Calming * Outcome Base Education * Endangered Species * Invasive Species * Restoration * Public/Private Partnerships * Common Good * Regional * Collaborative * Inter-disciplinary * Stakeholder * International Baccalaureate * School to work * Historic Preservation * Vision * Sustainable Medicine.
To mask what is not sustainable:
“Ski runs, grazing of livestock, plowing of soil, building fences, industry, single family homes, paves and tarred roads, logging activities, dams and reservoirs, power line construction, and economic systems that fail to set proper value on the environment.” -UN’s Biodiversity Assessment Report.
Plus Maurice Strong : “…current lifestyles and consumption patterns of the affluent middle class – involving high meat intake, use of fossil fuels, appliances, home and work air conditioning, and suburban housing are not sustainable.”
The History of Sustainable Development
and Sustainable Developments Connecting the Dots
The objective is to set up a group of sustainable communities where people are forced to:
- live in government controlled housing
- use government controlled mass transit
- work in government controlled businesses
- use government controlled utilities at a specified time
- eat government controlled food.
The sustainable communities will be separated by vast amounts of empty space ("wildlands") where no humans will allowed access. These sustainable communities will be connected by HIGH SPEED RAIL where you will need permission to travel out of your community. Today these open space plans are being promoted by grants under projects with no fact or foundation like The Endangered Species Act, the Wildlands Projects, and National Parks. All are designed to close businesses and confiscate private land. California farmers are subject to this rule as 40,000 acres of rich farmland is closed due to a 2 inch fish. Florida land owners are losing land continually under phony wetland rezoning designations.
Congress almost signed onto this until Dr. Michael Coffman showed Congress the actual map for the purposed development of the “wildlands” under Agenda21 in the USA.
Congress said NO but our buddy President Clinton said, “too bad” and used his executive power to create the President’s Council of Sustainable Development in 1996. He put his VP Al Gore in charge.
Bye Bye Property Rights - hello, eminent domain and burdensome environmental regulations!
If any NJ official insists their state is not wrapped up in UN Agenda 21, send them to the Sustainable Website for Denville. Or Sustainable New Jersey.
