Joe Biden is not only one of the most corrupt people ever to run for President, but his family also does not fall far from the trunk of the corruption tree.
Stories abound of various Biden family members violating law and avoiding any penalty.
In 2017, Biden’s niece, Caroline Biden, stole $110,000 through a credit card scam. This is grand larceny under state law. However she was able to cut a deal with a Democrat-aligned New York state prosecutor and avoid either jail time or probation.
This was her second arrest. She was able to deal her way out of the first one too.
Caroline's latest arrest was August 2019, in Pennsylvania, for drunk driving. That case is still pending.
She has also been to rehab numerous times.
So, yes, everyone has that one troublesome family member that you talk about in hushed terms and think about with dismay. That doesn't mean the entire family is corrupt, right?
Perhaps that's the case in the vast majority of families. However, in the Biden family, which most closely resembles a mob crime family, Caroline is typical. "Rules don't apply to me" seems the only rule they follow. The New York Post writes:
[Caroline's] arrest, which was never made public, was at least the ninth among Joe Biden’s close family, and followed incidents involving his brother Frank, his son Hunter and his daughter Ashley. The cases — ranging from felony theft to drug possession — were all either thrown out, or resulted in light sentences with no jail time, according to a Post review of public records and published reports.
Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, was kicked out of the Navy for failing a cocaine drug test. One may wonder, how did he ever get a naval officer's direct commission? Answer: Daddy fixed it for him.
Hunter divorced his wife, mother of his three daughters, after a year-long affair, to marry his brother Beau’s widow. Yes, Hunter carried on an affair with the widow of this recently-deceased brother, starting probably right after his brother died. What a scumbag.
Over the course of his divorce, Hunter drained hundreds of thousands of dollars from his and his wife's joint assets by "spending extravagantly on his own interests" (including drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, strip clubs and gifts for women with whom he had sexual relations), while leaving the family with insufficient funds to pay legitimate bills. It actually was worse than that:
Hunter's father, Joe the hair-sniffer and child-fondler, arranged billions in compensation for Hunter from Ukranian and Chinese state-aligned oligarchs. Joe was selling access to his position as vice president of the United States to the Chinese Communist Party and Ukraine. (Family members of John Kerry, former Secretary of State, also were involved in this too, and Kerry was selling to Iran his access to state secrets through his top level security clearance.)
Biden ’s daughter, Ashley Biden Krein, has been arrested several times for drug charges. While he was V.P., she was videoed snorting cocaine, but the news media decided that wasn't newsworthy and decided not to publish the video. She hid out in the Veep's Delaware home until things blew over. Marijuana charges were dismissed.
Multiple members of Joe Biden's immediate family enriched themselves through his powerful connections as a senator and vice president of the United States.
Political figures have long used their families to route power and benefits for their own self-enrichment. In my new book, “Profiles in Corruption: Abuse of Power by America’s Progressive Elite,” one particular politician — Joe Biden — emerges as the king of the sweetheart deal, with no less than five family members benefiting from his largesse, favorable access and powerful position for commercial gain. In Biden’s case, these deals include foreign partners and, in some cases, even US taxpayer dollars.
The Biden family’s apparent self-enrichment involves five family members: Joe’s son Hunter, son-in-law Howard, brothers James and Frank, and sister Valerie.
Despite his close connections with top Democrats, at least some mainstream left-wing news outlets are willing to expose the family's legacy of crime and corruption. The left-wing Politico wrote:
Biden’s image as a straight-shooting man of the people is clouded by the careers of his son and brother, who have lengthy track records of making, or seeking, deals that cash in on his name.
James Biden, Joe's younger brother, took over Paradigm Global Advisors in the summer of 2006. After firing the CEO, James said, “We've got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden"....“We've got investors lined up in a line of 747s filled with cash ready to invest in this company.”
James Biden made it clear he viewed the fund as a way to take money from rich foreigners who could not legally give money to his older brother or his campaign account.
Joe Biden's youngest brother, Frank Biden, wins the weirdest crime award: He stuffed two CDs down his pants at a Blockbuster in 2003. Also in 2003, Frank was busted for drunk driving, driving with a suspended license, and was found partially liable for the death of William Albano. He owed the Albano family nearly a million dollars, which he has yet to pay.
Clearly, the Biden family, headed up by Joe, has no respect for the rule of law. No Constitutional or statutory restrictions would bind any of them. The nation would free fall into lawlessness. If he were to win this November's election, the country will never recover from the fallout and aftermath of a Lawless Joe Biden win.
