Is The End Really Near?

With all that's going on, it's easy to see hard times ahead, wars and rumors of wars, etc. But is "the end near", really?

Given today's events it's worth taking a more serious look at prophecy, tribes and symbolism.

Years ago, I examined "Who is the Mahdi, the 12th Imam?"  The return of the 12th Imam represents the end of time and the coming of the Messiah for Muslims.

Currently, there is a group in Israel attempting to build the Third Temple on the Haram al Sharif, now the site of the 3rd holiest shrine in Islam, the Al Aqsa Mosque, and the Dome of the Rock. This action has caused extreme tension in Jerusalem between Jews and Arabs, both of whom look at this specific location as one of their most holy religious sites. Many Christians believe that the Third Temple will be rebuilt during the Tribulation. The rebuilding of the Third Temple is the fulfilment of end times prophecy for Jews, who believe that God will rebuild the temple and return His exiled people there. This is also a UN World Heritage Site

With the recent conflict in southern Israel and Gaza, this formerly local dispute has gained increased importance. In fact, now there are people in every major religion throughout the region -- Jewish, Muslim and Christian -- all whispering about prophecy and the end of days.

Recently, Iran raised the black flag over Korasan. This immediately spurred speculation about fulfilment of the prophetic Korasan hadith, which is apocalyptic and has inspired terrorism and Islamic jihads

Iranian Embassy in Damascus, Syria Tweets "Time Is Up" in Hebrew

In the heart of Iran’s Khorasan province, a black flag flutters above the Razavi Shrine in Mashhad. This is not a standard flag; it resonates deeply with Islamic prophecy, echoing a Hadith about Khorasan. While some scholars dispute the authenticity of this hadith, Islamic fundamentalists believe it is a call to jihad.

In general, raising the "black flag," formally called an Alam, is associated with commemorating religious events, and mourning ceremonies, in Shia Islam. It also may be used to commemorate the martyrdom of Imam Hussein

In the contemporary Islamist movement, the black flag is used to evoke notions of jihad and of reestablishing the Islamic Caliphate.

Therefore, this flag in Khorasan may have a dual meaning. It not only stands as a potent symbol of solidarity with the Palestinian people, mourning the lives lost in an Israeli strike on a hospital in the Gaza Strip, it also can be interpreted as a call to global jihad.

The crystal balls are not issuing end time statements but we do know that many of the events happening now were foretold. Even knowing that, we do not know the timeframe of events. I don't see this as the beginning of the End of Days or Tribulation; I see this more as a 5000-year leap or a third turning. I see events unfolding as more from political and social movements, not prophetic.

For example, the Ukraine war is explainable entirely in earthly terms of neoconism and globalist cabal power shifts.

I don't think we're actually near the "end of days". That will come, but not now. What we can all do now is prepare for hard times ahead, as those who rule this world try to burn it all down because they would rather rule over ashes than lose the hill.
